AMBASSADOR BONNIE MCCLELLAND

ABOUT AMBASSADOR BONNIE MCCLELLAND:

After graduating college with a degree in Communication Arts, Bonnie began working for a teen magazine editing, writing articles, and interviewing the popular celebs of the time. After realizing that teaching and inspiring youth was her passion, she returned to college to pursue her Masters in Elementary Education. In the last 15 years, she has taught second grade, third grade, and now kindergarten. Bonnie exclaims, “It’s been a wild and fulfilling ride, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!”  She is currently working on her administration degree so she can lead and inspire an even greater group of children and peers.

CLASSROOM MOTTO:

“Yes we’re kindergarten, and yes we CAN!”

PROUDEST MOMENT OF YOUR EDUCATION CAREER:

My proudest moment was being selected as the New York State representative for the PBS Digital Innovator program in 2015. Since then, I have met a multitude of influential educators, and have participated in conferences and webinars that have truly enhanced my practice.

WHY DID YOU WANT TO BECOME A BUNCEE AMBASSADOR?

Buncee has indeed been a game changer for me. After being introduced to it at last year’s ISTE conference, I knew it was something I wanted to try. I love that it is as much a tool for teachers, as it is for students. I signed up for a live webinar with Buncee Education Associate Bryan Gorman last summer, and I was sold. He came to my school to work with students, and will be doing a GHO for my tech club in the future. The support and kindness that Buncee has offered educators has been outstanding. I am proud to be an Ambassador for a company that values education, teachers, and the lifelong learning skills of children. Thank you for the opportunity!
