Ambassador Christy Post

ABOUT AMBASSADOR CHRISTY POST:

Christy Post is entering her sixth year as an elementary assistant principal in Connecticut. She has been active on Twitter for the last year and a half. Additionally, Christy started writing a blog a year ago entitled “Elementary Principles.” As a school administrator, Christy has been active in serving and supporting the military families who are connected to her school. Her interest in educational technology has been fueled in her six-year involvement with the Web Development Team for her school.  Christy is a passionate educator and she sums up her journey as an educator with the following quote:  “I LOVE my job and am always looking for new and interesting ways to learn.  I am also still a kid at heart and love to play with graphic design and other fun ways to interact and engage my students, staff and parents.”

Follow Christy on Twitter @christypost9. Read her blog “Elementary Principles” at https://elementaryprinciples.weebly.com/.

CLASSROOM MOTTO:

“We are all learners!”

PROUDEST MOMENT OF YOUR EDUCATION CAREER:

Christy has many proud moments she cherishes. The favorite part of her day is greeting all 400 of her students every day at the school’s front door and seeing their smiles. Connecting with students in this simple, yet visceral level inspires Christy and ignites her leadership even more. For Christy, she takes pride knowing that each student is aware of her authentic compassion for them. Her students know that they have a happy and positive support system always ready to support them every day.

WHY DID YOU WANT TO BECOME A BUNCEE AMBASSADOR?

Christy has loved Buncee from its support of #CelebrateMonday and #TrendthePositive. She shares her support for Team Buncee here:

“I love Buncee.  I have seen many others using it and I want to learn all I can from others and their uses for it.  I also want to be a part of this community because everyone I have seen and talked to about it are excited and love what they do.  I want to be a part of a group like this.  I hope that by being a part of this I will learn from others and hopefully be able to contribute ideas of my own.”

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE BUNCEES?
