ABOUT AMBASSADOR JENNIFER LADD:

I am a fourth grade teacher in the West Bloomfield District in sunny Michigan.  I am lucky enough to have been chosen to teach 4th Grade Students at Scotch Elementary.  I have been teaching for 4 years as this is a second career for me.  Before I was a teacher, I worked in the world of Human Resources and Training.  I love having my students use technology to show their learning and to create ways to share their learning and to take that learning to a deeper level.

PROUDEST MOMENT OF YOUR EDUCATION CAREER:

My proudest moment as an educator is when my 4th grade class came together to make their school community a better place by dedicating a Buddy Bench to Scotch Elementary.  The community in our classroom was strong and they wanted to share that with the entire school. They created a persuasive  presentation for our Principal to get permission for the project,  then they raised all the money needed, and finally created an informational presentation to inform all their fellow students on the Buddy Bench Program. They owned the entire process and I was such a proud teacher!

WHY DID YOU WANT TO BECOME A BUNCEE AMBASSADOR?

Buncee is a unique way to express thought digitally.  My students love how easy it is to use and how creative they can be.  I love the versatility of making presentations or slides, using internet resources, having access to beautiful graphics, and most of all  it is a FUN way to present your message.  I love sharing amazing resources like this with other teachers as a way for them to engage their students.
