“Buncee Your Valentine” Contest

Create a Valentine’s Day themed buncee to share the love with your sweetie, family, and friends for a chance to win an iPad mini wifi 16GB!

Any Valentine themed holiday greeting created on buncee.com January 17, 2013 through February 13, 2013 5:00PM EST is eligible for a chance to win the grand prize. The winning Valentine buncee will be determined by how many buncee ‘likes’ their greeting receives.

All visitors to buncee.com will be able to view the entries as posted in the ‘holiday’ category, and cast a vote for their favorite Valentine themed buncee(s). Contestants are encouraged to lobby for their cause by sharing their greeting via email, or social networks and encouraging friends, family, etc. to vote for them!

The buncee with the most likes on the buncee.com website at the end of the contest will be determined to be the winner.

Contest Rules

These rules (including the Buncee Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use) govern the ‘Buncee Your Valentine’ contest (the “contest”) and set out the terms and conditions between Buncee, LLC (“buncee” or “us/we”) and each participant (“participant” or “you”).

1. Sponsor

The contest is sponsored by Buncee, LLC, located at 889 Harrison Avenue, Riverhead, New York 11901.

2. Prize

The grand prize that may be awarded to the eligible winner will be the iPad mini Wi-Fi 16GB valued at $329.00. The prize is not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. All prizes must be redeemed within thirty (30) days of the contest end date. If a winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified for any reason, Buncee, LLC reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner’s prize, in its sole discretion. Apple Inc. is not a participant in or sponsor of this promotion.

3. Contest Period

The contest begins on January 17, 2013 5:00PM EST, and ends on February 13, 2013 5:00PM EST. Entries that are created before or after the Contest Period are not eligible to win. Qualifying entries for the contest must be created on https://www.buncee.com, in order to be accepted for the duration of the contest.

4. How to Enter

Participants are required to submit their entries by creating a Valentine themed greeting online at www.buncee.com. Participants are required to do the following:

  • Create an (free) account on buncee.com by clicking “sign up” and filling out the required information, or use an existing buncee.com account.
  • Click “Start Here!” to begin creating a holiday buncee(s)
  • Add Valentine themed text, images, video, backgrounds, sounds so your entry stands out and expresses your creativity.
  • After clicking “Save Draft”, “Preview”, or “Finish”, choose the category ‘Holiday’ on the “Categorize your buncee” pop-up
  • Publish & share your buncee on buncee.com, via email, or  your favorite social networks.

Be sure to lobby for your cause by sharing your Valentine buncee via email or social networks, and encourage friends, family, etc. to view your greeting on buncee.com and vote for you by ‘liking’ your creation!

Remember, the most likes on buncee.com wins the iPad mini!

5. Prize Drawing

On or about February 13, 2013, Buncee, LLC will select the grand prize winner. The buncee that has the most “likes” on the buncee.com website will be determined the winner. Buncee, LLC will attempt to notify the potential winner via email on or about February 15, 2013. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the initial attempt to contact him/her, Buncee, LLC may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place.

6. Eligibility and Limitations

The contest is open to participants worldwide. All national and local laws and regulations of the resident’s country of residence apply. Residents of countries under U.S. embargo are not eligible to enter. The contest is void wherever else it is restricted or prohibited by law.  Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize, including but not limited to, additional taxes, export duties, or fees will be the sole responsibility of prize winner/recipient. Employees of Buncee, LLC and / or their affiliates are not eligible to enter or win.

By participating in the voting portion of any contest, each voting participant agrees to be bound by the official contest rules. If an entrant receives irregular votes or multiple votes from the same user or users, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, other automated means or other source, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion. If the contest includes the use of an internet tool and the internet voting process fails to operate properly or appears to be tampered with or tainted with errors, fraud or unfair practices, Buncee, LLC reserves the right to use another means to determine the winner(s), i.e. random selection or appointing a panel of judges. All decisions of the judges are final.

7. Publicity; Use of Personal Information

By participating, where allowed by law, all participants and winner(s) grant Buncee, LLC exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, videotape, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. By participating in the contest, where allowed by law, participants agree that Buncee, LLC may use information obtained from participants in the contest for marketing and other purposes.

8. Consumer Created Content

If the entry for the contest includes any creative material from the participant, including but not limited to, consumer created content, by submitting your entry: (1) you agree that your disclosure is gratuitous, unsolicited and without restriction and will not place buncee.com or contest sponsors under any fiduciary or other obligation, that Buncee, LLC is free to disclose the ideas on a non-confidential basis to anyone or otherwise use the ideas without any additional compensation to you; (2) you acknowledge that, by acceptance of your submission, Buncee, LLC and contest sponsors do not waive any rights to use similar or related ideas previously known to sponsor, or developed by their employees, or obtained from sources other than you; (3) you are verifying that you are the owner and producer of the submitted material and that no third party ownership rights exist to any material submitted, and (4) you are hereby granting Buncee, LLC a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable (through multiple tiers) right and license to use, publish, reproduce, display, perform, adapt, modify, distribute, have distributed and promote such content in any form, in all media now known or hereinafter created, anywhere in the world, for any purpose.

9. Release

By participating in the contest, each participant and winner agree to release and hold harmless Buncee, LLC, and waives any and all claims of liability against Buncee, LLC, its employees and agents, the contest’s sponsors and their respective employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the contest, or from the use of any prize.

10. Taxes

Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to Buncee, LLC, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable taxes related to the prize(s) and paying any expenses associated with any prize which are not specifically provided for in the official rules. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from Buncee, LLC will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.

11. Conduct and Decisions

By participating in the contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of Buncee, LLC personnel. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior is prohibited. Buncee, LLC will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the contest and Buncee, LLC’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If the conduct or outcome of the contest is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of Buncee, LLC, Buncee, LLC reserves the right to terminate this contest, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as Buncee, LLC deems appropriate. All decisions will be made by Buncee, LLC and are final. Buncee, LLC may waive any of these rules in its sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately circumvent, disrupt, damage or undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Buncee, LLC reserve the right to seek civil and/or criminal prosecution and/or damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Miscellaneous

Void where prohibited. Odds of winning depend upon the number of participants. Buncee, LLC may substitute prizes, amend the rules or discontinue the contest at any time as announced on the web site. Buncee, LLC disclaims any responsibility to notify participants of any aspect related to the conduct of the contest. All entries become the property of Buncee, LLC and will not be returned.

13. Compliance with Law

The conduct of the contest is governed by the applicable laws of the United States of America, which take precedence over any rule to the contrary herein. Buncee, LLC shall follow the applicable laws for conducting contests, including notice to the state attorney general or consumer affairs office, posting of a prize bond, furnishing lists of winners, running specific web site disclaimers, providing specific written information about the contest, etc. as required by local and state law.
