March is Women’s History Month, and it is during this time that we honor the amazing women throughout history, remember the struggle for women’s rights, celebrate the women who continue to inspire us every day, and empower the women of tomorrow. This year, here at Buncee, we’ve teamed up with Shannon Miller, along with PebbleGo and Capstone to bring you some ideas and inspiration on how you can celebrate Women’s History Month with your students!

In celebration of Women’s History Month, all PebbleGo and PebbleGo Next biographies about famous women are available for free! Students can learn more about women from history and today, and can share their findings in Buncee with our Women’s History Month templates. Let’s take a closer look at how you can explore Women’s History Month with PebbleGo and Buncee:

Honoring History’s Influential Women

Kick off Women’s History Month by learning more about some of history’s most accomplished and influential women! Students can head to PebbleGo, and choose a woman from history they want to learn more about. Then, they can share their findings in a PebbleGo Research Journal on Buncee!

Celebrating the Women of Today

History is full of accomplished and influential women, but what about the women making history today? Or, what about the women in your own life that have had an impact on you? Students can choose a woman they can look up to, who inspires them everyday. They could explore PebbleGo, and choose to research someone famous, or, they could interview a woman in their life, such as a teacher, family member, or a member of the community. Students can then record their questions and responses in a Buncee.

Empowering the Women of the Future

Do you know an inspirational young woman who is doing amazing work? Maybe one day, she’ll be the subject of a PebbleGo Biography, and join Marie Curie, Amelia Earhart, Malala Yousafzai, and the many other influential women you can learn about in PebbleGo! Students can create a Buncee explaining who they think is Most Likely to be in a PebbleGo Biography. They can choose a young woman, someone they’ve read about, or perhaps a classmate, who is doing incredible work, and learn more about her and her accomplishments.
