National Novel Writing Month: Digital Story Contest

In honor of National Novel Writing Month this November, we’re so excited to share that Bronwyn Joyce, creator of the Global Write is hosting a special digital story contest! This is an excellent opportunity for students to share their voice, practice their writing and storytelling skills, and exercise their creativity! We’re so excited to work with Bronwyn, to support educators and their students as they explore the writing process; and we’re so excited to be supporting her project with some fun Buncee and Capstone prizes!

How can I enter?

Students can use Buncee to create their own digital stories! Educators can encourage students to start from scratch, or from our ready to use templates, designed to guide students through the stages of the writing process.

Educators then create a Buncee Board, and add their students’ Buncees to the Board. Then, educators can submit the Buncee Board from November 1st – November 26th to enter the contest. The winners will be announced on December 3rd!

You can learn more information and enter the contest here.

Don’t miss these writing workshops!

Throughout the month of November, be sure to join in these special writer’s workshops, featuring digital storytelling and writing experts! Teachers and whole classrooms are welcome to join in! Students can learn about the writing process, and get tips and tricks about how they can build their own stories!
