Pi Day Activity Template

Happy 3.14…∞ Day! The Buncee team is happy this holiday for two reasons: 1) A reason to look up Pi jokes (scroll to the bottom of this post to see our favorite) and 2) The opportunity to share this fantastic Pi Day activity template with you!

“With that, I hope your students enjoy exploring the wonders of π!” It’s not really a big deal, but when re-reading the post, I thought that might I thought that might sound a bit nicer. And is it possible to make it so that when you click on the image, it goes to the Buncee? Just because that’s what I always do (even though I see the link, above)!

As we approach Pi Day, I wanted to share a fun little activity that you can do with students to help them understand π as the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. The Pi Day Buncee is copyable, so feel free to copy it into your Buncee account to edit & then share with your class! Watch this video to learn how to copy Buncees.

Materials needed for this activity are:

* circular objects, displayed around the room

* string

* rulers

* calculators

* Pi Day Buncee for students to fill out
