S is for Sharing 2: An Audience Makes Creation More Powerful

We talk a lot about Buncee being an fantastic and versatile creation tool. The thing is, though, it’s also such a fantastic tool for sharing your ideas quickly and easily. Let’s take a look at just a handful of ways to use Buncee to give your creation wings:

PLN/Social Media
Are you looking to grow your social media presence, or make a more engaging Twitter chat? Make slides for your questions, or Tweet out inspirational education quotes with a picture that goes perfectly! Maybe you like to tweet out daily inspiration like Elaine Deja does with #ABunceeADay.

Invitations!
Whether you’re planning a Family Reading Night, a birthday party at your house, or a team planning/team building day with your grade level or department, Buncee’s RSVP function will help you get it all ready!

Lastly, Buncee’s email feature allows you to send it out to your entire mailing list in a jiffy, and you can see who’s opened an email, and who hasn’t:

Sharing Between Students and Teachers
Whether you’re sharing a message with one student, sharing information with a group, or receiving a Buncee from one of your students, the Share With Students/Share With Teachers tab makes it easy to communicate quickly! For more information on this feature, read the first S is for Sharing blog post.

QR Codes
Use Buncee’s QR Code Generator to include a link back to your Buncee. Now when you pass out your Buncee business card, people can scan your card for the full multimedia experience that you’ve put together for them!

Embedding
If you have a classroom (or personal) blog, or if your class website is hosted on a blogging platform like WordPress, Buncee has your back. You can embed a Buncee right into your blog using the embed code. Now your readers can interact with your creations without leaving your page.

Meanwhile if you’re sharing to your school’s LMS, just drop the link to your Buncee in like I did here with Edmodo. Your students will be able to click right into it.

Sharing Settings

Let’s talk about the sharing options you encounter when you first click share:

You can choose who can see your Buncee: Only Me, Anyone with the Link, or Anyone. Those are fairly self explanatory, but if you choose Anyone, you’ll see a message that says, “Awesome! We may select your Buncee for the staff picks page.” So if you don’t mind having your Buncee shared, Anyone is a fine choice, but if you have a specific audience, Anyone with the Link will serve you just fine!

Next, you have switches for Commentable and Copyable. Making your Buncee Commentable means that people can leave comments for you. You’ll see a little notification at the top of your Buncee when it’s in View Mode. Copyable is more important. If you want your students to be able to work on a Buncee template that you’ve sent them, you’ll need to switch Copyable to ON. Then they can copy it and get right to editing!
