Wow! TCEA 2020 was a blast! It was our first time attending, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. We love getting the opportunity to connect with our community, and make new friends as well! Let’s take a closer look at some of the highlights from TCEA 2020:
Making Connections
It was awesome to catch up in person with some of our Buncee ambassadors. We also got to make new friends, and connect with so many educators who share our passion for student success.
Buncee Presentations at TCEA 2020
We had the honor of hosting some incredibly talented educators who presented at the Buncee booth. These educators shared their expertise and their educational experiences, and inspired us all with their passion and dedication.
Global Collaboration and the Power of Immersive Reader with Rachelle Dene Poth, High School Educator, Author, Consultant
Rachelle demonstrated the powerful combination of Buncee and Immersive Reader. In her session, she explored how Buncee and Immersive Reader can be used to connect classrooms globally and bridge language barriers, while also providing support to all types of learners.
Student Engagement and Creation with Tisha Poncio, Middle School Educator
Tisha shared her experience using Buncee with her students. She leads a student group called SWAT, which stands for Students Who Advocate for Technology, and she shared some amazing examples of student work on Buncee.
Share & Tell with Future Ready Librarians with Shannon Miller, Librarian, Tech Director
Shannon led a “Share & Tell” session where she shared some of her favorite ways to Buncee both in the library and beyond. She connected with her audience members, and introduced some new ideas for using Buncee.
Giving Students Voice with Buncee with Dr. Roland Rios, Tech Director
Dr. Rios gave a fun and engaging session in which he showed how to support student voice with Buncee. He played his ukulele, and used the audio and video functions to record himself as he demonstrated how easy it is for students to add their voice to their creations.
Buncee Book Bento with Amy Storer, Instructional Coach, Tech Integration Mentor
In her session, Amy and her audience created a Buncee Book Bento together. Using stickers, animations, the photo function, and more, and with help from fellow Buncee Ambassador Deb Zeman, Amy shared how students can visualize key concepts in their reading, add some Buncee fun to their book reports.
