ABOUT AMBASSADOR KARIE FRAUENHOFFER:
Karie Frauenhoffer is a 6th year English Language Arts teacher in Southeast Middle School in Kernersville, North Carolina. She is the proprietor of her school’s newly cultivated Makerspace and is excited about integrating technology and new ideas into her classroom.
Karie is always looking to engage her students in ways that are innovative and inspiring. It is evident that she is passionate about teaching and learning. PROUDEST MOMENT OF YOUR EDUCATION CAREER:
I think my proudest moment of my education career is during my 2nd year, when one of my students- who had very little confidence in herself – got an exemplary score on her state End of Grade test. Though I hate End of Grade standardized testing, it was a really proud moment seeing her believe in herself after that.
WHY DID YOU WANT TO BECOME A BUNCEE AMBASSADOR?
I would like to be be a Buncee Ambassador because I would like expand my Professional Learning Network and take on more outside leadership opportunities within Education. I know I am very new to this; however, I am very committed to utilizing Buncee regularly in my classroom and would really love this opportunity!
