CLASSROOM MOTTO:

“That’s a YOU question!”

PROUDEST MOMENT OF YOUR EDUCATION CAREER:

The proudest moment of my education career was having my students present at local conferences. My goal is to create independence in my students, and knowing they do not need me is a wonderful feeling. As mentioned above, our class motto has always been “That’s a YOU question!” Not super catchy, but when students came to me with needs or requests and got that response from me, they knew it meant, “I trust you enough to take ownership over that decision.” This caused them to begin digging internally for their own answers or ways to find answers independently. Once they began to realize what they were capable of, they took off!

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BECOME A BUNCEE AMBASSADOR?

I LIVE for student-led and student-created content. Often, teachers are unsure about what that looks like in action. Buncee is a wonderful tool to allow student voice and choice, whether teachers are timidly dipping their toes in, or are a full-fledged student-led classroom.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE BUNCEES?
