Buncee’s Commitment to Student Privacy

Here at Buncee, we strongly believe that if you’re going to make a tool, it needs to be safe to use. When that tool is something you’re making available to children, safety becomes a major priority.

From the beginning, we’ve taken steps to wear our values on our sleeve (Buncee’s Privacy Policy). It’s easy to say that you care about something. Doing the work to show your care is another matter. In the world of EdTech, that means certification.

The first milestone in that direction came in achieving COPPA Safe Harbor Status. That’s an assurance to parents and teachers that we’re compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, or COPPA. Student privacy and parental control of student information is more than a company priority – it is rooted in our values.

Now we’re pleased to add our status as a signatory of the Student Privacy Pledge, as well. In taking this step, we are proud to be marked as a company which is dedicated to putting children’s safety first!

So, if you’re a parent, educator, or district who’s thinking of choosing Buncee, you can rest assured that we’re on your side in the fight for your children’s safety!
