What is Buncee Buddies?

Buncee Buddies is a digital pen pal project bringing together students and teachers from across the globe! The Buncee team’s goal through this program is to connect classrooms to share Buncee creations, learn about other cultures, and make new friends along the way. Throughout the program, the goal is to encourage cross-cultural exchanges, critical thinking based on a prompt, creativity, and the growth of new friendships.

Each fall and spring, a new round of Buncee Buddies registration begins. Each project has a theme and a prompt with questions that encourage the classrooms to exchange ideas and experiences with each other. This exchange is where the magic happens.

  • To celebrate the end of Buncee Buddies: Celebrate Peace 2016, Southold Elementary live-streamed a Buncee Buddies concert starring Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could!  Over 100 viewers from around the world tuned in to watch this musical celebration of peace, music, and global connections.
